Curriculum Vitae
After graduating in September 2014 from the Università Cattolica di Milano (Prof. Dr. Maria Pia Alberzoni) with a thesis in medieval history entitled "La Vita Gregorii IX as a source for the history of the thirteenth-century papacy", I obtained my PhD in March 2018 with research on "The activity of the Imperial judges in the communal Lombardy," again from the Università Cattolica di Milano in co-tutelle with the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität of Freiburg i.Br. (Prof. Dr. Jürgen Dendorfer). At the center of my research lies the political history of the Staufen age, with particular attention to the institutional development and cultural influences both in the imperial court and in the papal curia.
